SHIRDI SAI BABA

Almost everyone believes in a Supreme Force. Many believe that this force manifests itself periodically to redeem mankind. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa once said that in the tree of Brahman there are various fruits like Rama, Krishna, Buddha and Jesus. These are of various hues, sizes and shapes. We may now visualize that further fruits in the form of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Shirdi Sai Baba, who were contemporaries have appeared on this tree. Shirdi Sai Baba was a unique Maha Purusha. He would chant Vedas in a mosque and recite Quran in a temple. He made a decrepit mosque his preferred dwelling place and called it Dwaraka Mai. In Skanda Purana, Dwaraka is defined as a place open to people of all castes. In the Darbar of Shirdi Baba there is no discrimination based on gender, caste or creed. All have equal access to the "Sabka Malik Ek" (The supreme master of everyone).

The approach to God is made easy, with barest rituals. His teachings - explicit and implicit are simple, viz. 'engage in service, be charitable, chant the Almighty's name and meditate on the Supreme Being'.Shirdi Sai Baba is associated with Leelas or miracles, just as both Lord Krishna and Jesus Christ were. Shirdi Baba performed miracles not only during his lifetime but is doing so even after His Maha Samadhi in 1918.Shirdi Sai Baba gives you what you want so that you may ask Him for what He had come to give you (which is liberation from the cycle of birth and death). Most of the devotees experience a personal relationship with Him.
